There has been an increase in demand for good, qualified investment product accountants. Investment banks are active in searching for these people, and salaries are attractive.

Also in demand (as ever!) are qualified accountants, especially chartered accountants from the UK. Many companies are seeking UK trained ACA's rather than ACCA/CPA/CGA qualified professionals from elsewhere. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues.
